Mauro De March

Mauro De March has been practising the Dharma for over 46 years. During this time, he has served as an attendant and close friend to many great masters, and acted as an ambassador of Rigpa in the East.
He possesses a deep knowledge of Buddhism’s cultural and art heritage and oversaw the creation of the extensive sacred decorations for Rigpa’s temples at Lerab Ling in southern France, and Dzogchen Beara in Ireland, as well as numerous other creative projects. Mauro’s passion for the spiritual and cultural history of Buddhism can also be experienced in the pilgrimages he leads to sacred sites in India and Sikkim. He especially enjoys guiding students individually and in small groups.
Mauro took part in Rigpa’s Three-Year Retreat under the guidance of Sogyal Rinpoche. Deeply inspired to embody and transmit Sogyal Rinpoche’s teachings on “wisdom and compassion in action,” Mauro enjoys sharing these with Rigpa teams and other groups, as he believes they are essential for harmonious and effective collaboration in working for the dharma.
